Spurs training camp preparations continued at Hotspur Way as Tottenham worked towards their trip to Spain and Monday’s home meeting with Coventry City.
The club’s latest training gallery, published on Wednesday, shows the squad back at their Enfield base after the 1-1 draw at Manchester United. Tottenham now have a longer gap between matches to work on Roberto De Zerbi’s ideas. The squad reported back to Hotspur Way this week for that work.
Spurs training camp has a clear team target
De Zerbi explained the purpose of the Spurs training camp in Marbella in an official club interview on 12 October. His priority was to turn a strong group of players into a team that acts together.
“Now the target is to build the team, not the group of the players,” he said. “We are a great group of players, but we are not a team yet.”
Spurs showed the kind of response he wants at Old Trafford. They fell behind to Bryan Mbeumo and then lost Rodrigo Bentancur to a red card. Dominic Solanke’s stoppage-time header still earned the visitors a point.
That late recovery gave De Zerbi an example to build on at the Spurs training camp. He spoke about players attacking, defending and suffering together, including substitutes who only have a few minutes to influence a game.

Training work before Coventry visit
The latest official gallery covers work at Hotspur Way before the squad’s trip. It does not announce a new injury decision or confirm the team for Coventry.
The Spurs training camp gives De Zerbi time to work with his players before that next test. He also wants the group to find the balance between confidence and hunger in both training and matches.
Tottenham’s recent Solanke reaction to the United draw set out a similar balance: praise for the response, but recognition that earlier chances needed a better finish.
The Spurs training camp takes place in a clear week for the club. Spurs drew at Manchester United last time out and have no midweek fixture before the Monday meeting with Coventry. The squad are due to train in Spain before returning for that match.
Coventry visit Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday, with kick-off at 8pm UK time. The aim is to carry the togetherness shown at United into a more complete performance at home, and Monday offers the first chance to show it.
